As well as working for the Modality team, Lynsey Parkes has been a Cardiac Physiologist at Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust since 2007. She completed her training at New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton, and gained a First BSc (Hons) Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) at the City of Westminster college in 2005.
Lynsey has a wide experience in Cardiology and has gained accreditation in both echocardiography and cardiac rhythm management. She routinely performs echocardiogram scans, pacing follow up clinics, provides technical support at device implants, performs loop recorder implants and explants and has recently started palpitation clinics under the guidance of a Consultant.
