Who are the Modality Neurology Team?
Modality LLP has been delivering specialist Neurology services since 2019. Our service supports NHS patients across 3 hospital trusts in the West Midlands as well as self-pay patients. Our services operate seven days a week.
Our specialist team includes GPs with an Extended Role in Neurology. We specialise in diagnosing and managing neurological conditions including Headaches, Epilepsy, Parkinsons disease, multiple sclerosis and more.

We offer expert diagnosis and Botox therapy for headaches, addressing migraines, tension headaches, and cluster headache. Botox is used specifically for chronic migraines, which are defined as having at least 15 headache days a month.
This treatment involves using a type of nerve toxin that paralyses muscles, helping to reduce the frequency and severity of headaches and migraines. Botox is administered as a series of small injections, usually given under the skin or into the muscles in and around the head of the forehead, above the ears and into the neck.
Injections are given every 12 weeks until there is a significant improvement. Botox is generally well-tolerated but the most common side effects being neck pain, muscular weakness and drooping of the eyelid which wear off over time.
