Private GP Consultations

GP appointments are suitable for general health concerns, routine check-ups, ongoing management of chronic conditions, and initial investigations.

A GP can assist if you:

Have a new or general health concern
Need advice on what specialist to see
Want ongoing, holistic care.

During your consultation, your GP may also include:

A private prescription
A referral to a specialist consultant
Recommending/referring you for diagnostic tests such as an MRI, Xray or Ultrasound scan.

Please note: Separate costs will apply for prescriptions, specialist referrals, diagnostic tests and any additional treatment.

We also offer consultations with specialist consultants. These clinicians provide expert care in a specific area of medicine – for example, Cardiology, Dermatology and Orthopaedics.

They have expert knowledge as they are highly trained in one area, and can provide tailored, in-depth management for a particular condition.

A specialist can assist if you:

Have a clearly defined problem requiring expert management

Your GP has already referred you on the NHS and you are waiting for an appointment

Have already been investigated and need treatment planning
Require specific procedures or interventions.
