Our Treatment Options

NHS Patients

If your GP decides that you need to see a specialist, you can request to have treatment from a list of NHS or private hospitals or clinics. The e-Referral Service allows you to choose the time, date and hospital or clinic for your required treatment.

This choice is a legal right and if it’s not offered at the point of referral, you should discuss the options available to you with your GP or the GP practice staff.

If you are referred to Modality LLP services for your NHS treatment, your treatment will take place at one of our community sites and will be fully funded by the NHS.

Private Medical Insurance

At the point where you need to see a specialist for treatment, you can choose to activate your private health cover, using it to pay for treatment at one of our private facilities.

Self-Pay Patients

You may wish to pay for your own care by choosing the treatment you need, when you need it. Self-pay healthcare is available to anyone who can cover the cost of private consultations, diagnostics, treatments or surgery themselves. Our dedicated team will assist in talking you through your options with most first consultations available within 7 days of enquiry.
